About Us
The Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Cloud (C4), powered by C4 AI, is a revolutionary Global Health Catalyst collaboration platform designed to deliver world-class CARE (Care, Advocacy/Outreach, Research, and Education) anywhere in the world.
Built on AI and cloud computing, and enhanced by blockchain, virtual reality, holograms, and quantum technologies, the C4 connects patients, families, providers, researchers, educators, industry, and community organizations through secure, cloud-based tools. This enables equitable access to comprehensive cancer and whole-person health services, regardless of where one lives, even in the most remote or underserved areas.
The C4 is designed to be accessed through mobile devices, computers, community-based health kiosks, or academic institutions, bringing healthcare to people where they live, work, and worship—rather than waiting for them to travel to hospitals. Tremendous impact mission is in downstaging cancer addressing the growing burden of chronic/non-communicable diseases and eliminating disparities.
By empowering local and regional cancer centers, healthcare providers, universities, and faith-based/community organizations to serve as credentialed hubs, the C4 builds trust, strengthens health systems, and creates a truly global, connected ecosystem for whole-person health.
Our Story
The C4 emerged out of a lab at the Harvard Institutes of Medicine in 2018, with interest from IBM Watson at the time. With the emergence of AI, the C4 has grown to include stakeholders across the world as highlighted in different publications including in Nature Medicine, Lancet Oncology, Science Magazine integrating Whole Person Health in an era where mental health has become a global crises. Different CARE or CORE (Care Outreach/Advocacy, Research, Education) components of the C4 have been piloted and tested over the years. In June 2025, the integrated C4 platform was launched at the Global Health Catalyst Summit at MIT featuring new integrable tools with virtual reality and hologram technology. C4 implementation with different collaborators including governments, industry, non-profit, community/faith-based/diaspora organizations will feature at the GHC summit at Harvard September 19-21 2025
